About LaunchPoint
At LaunchPoint College and Career Services, we believe every student deserves a clear path forward.
Founded by Ray Cottiers, LaunchPoint combines real-world leadership experience with a passion for guiding young people toward their future.
Ray is the Founder and Owner of Varsity Prep USA, a youth development organization that has served over 750 Bergen County families in the past seven years. In addition, he previously served as Chief of Staff to a New Jersey State Assemblyman, working across industries such as government, healthcare, education, small business, law, and community development.
Recognized as the 2025 New Milford District Teacher of the Year and Bergen County Wrestling Coach of the Year, among other honors, Ray brings together public service, entrepreneurship, education, and leadership to provide unmatched opportunities for students to launch their futures.
What We Do
COLLEGE & CAREER PREP
LaunchPoint helps students build strong resumes, sharpen interview skills, and gain confidence through personalized coaching. We then connect them with internships and volunteer opportunities across local, countywide, and statewide organizations to put their skills into action.

For our inaugural year, we are offering a special founder’s rate of $695.
This one-time sign-up fee covers all services: resume review, interview prep, and internship placement.
